My 1st GuG Lesson

Ian's REBELLIOUS Thoughts :

Had my 1st GuG lesson yesterday..... the day started well.... we went to United Square REAL EARLY as mummy thought that the lesson supposed to start at 9 am..... and actually the lesson starts at 9.30 am.... my Mummy is certainly very BLUR

Anyway, had lots of fun before the lesson as I kept running around the place looking at all the lights..... do you know that they are in various shapes... stars, ovals & circles..... Mummy asked me to look for a diamond-shape light, but I can't find it, so guess Mummy must be kidding me.... Daddy made me sit in some weird kiddie rides.... I don't like them.... they are so UNNATURAL.... can you believe that a train has a face..... and they got dinos - purple, green and some other bright colour - sitting on a car.... and believe it or not, my parents wanna ME to sit with them.... think my parents are SILLY, don't they know that vehichles don't have face & animals, especially EXTINCT ONES, don't ride with HUMAN on CARS.... they don't even have CARS during the dino times.....

Anyway, I am going off the topic..... The topic of the day is my GuG lesson..... So back to the topic..... The lesson started well..... there were 9 kids altogether in the lesson and we started by having with toys.... Then as usual, we sing songs.... then Teacher Linda read a story.... the story book is so tiny.... can't een see the words, so I decided to explore the room..... saw these cute chairs.... they have holes at the back & my arms & legs fit perfectly there..... so I kept trying to put my arms & legs in the hole.... my spoilsport Mummy said why not listen to the story and kept telling me what is happening in the story.... don't she understand that I am not interested??..... After that, we saw ants & we are supposed to use the finger paint to do an ant trail..... I LUVVV finger paint & wanna put my whole hands on the paint and usual, Mummy said no and only allow me to do the ant trail..... then it is break time.... instead of eating, Mummy & I count.... there are a few cushions with numbers listed on them so we had fun doing it..... Then it is ZOO PHONICS time.... the alphabet of the day is "A".... and the animal is Allie Alligator.... Allie Alligator says "Eh.. Eh... Eh...."... Teacher Linda also said that alligators got LONG TAIL and when they close their snout, their teeth can be seen unlike crocodiles.... That is something interesting.....

Then things started being more interested.... they gave us an apple and expected us to pass it around so we can know how apple feels like..... Don't THESE ADULTS understand that apple is a fruit and we are supposed to eat them rather than pass them around??.... So I started crying when Mummy forced me to surrender my apple..... I refused to study anymore if they don't understand the meaning of eating an apple..... Mummy lost her temper so it is Daddy to the rescue.... Daddy tried to pacify me & we went back to the class.... By then the kids are eating jam as Teacher Linda has taught them the spelling of jam & to make us understand what is JAM, they are feeding us JAM..... kinda interesting, right??

Anyway, I think Mummy is worried about me.... She thinks that I can't cope with the class as I seem bored with most of the things they are doing..... it is her own fault anyway, she taught me too many things so I already know almost everything that is being taught at the first GuG lesson..... hopefully, the class becomes more interesting with time.... I am looking forward to the class.... Think next week, they will be teaching us the sound of "B".... do you think we will have a banana??....
