Call me “NIN”

My adorable little son has decided that his name is “NIN”…..*sigh*

It all started last week when some one at the pool ask him for his name… He did not answer….. Then it dawned upon me that I never taught him to say his own name & age…. So I started to teach him at the pool itself….. As usual he ignored me so I thought it did not get into his head…. *laugh*

Then imagine my surprise yesterday when I casually asked him what his name was….. He patted his own chest & said “Nin”…. My first thought is “WHAT????”….. thinking that I heard him wrongly, I asked again….. and once again, he replied “Nin”…. I started to laugh & said his name is Ian and if he has to change his name, at least please use “II” (pronounce as “EE”)…. But as usual, he persistently call himself “Nin”….*sigh*

But at least he is willing to compromise & say that his age is “2” even though initially he was quite persistent that he was only 1 year old…. Actually he is correct as he has yet to reach 2 years old….. three more months to go, but for the sake of convenience, it is easier to say 2…. But don’t tell him that….*grin*
