Ian's EXCITED Thoughts :
Yesterday was ONE MEMORABLE day.....
The day started on a slow note..... I woke up only at 8.30 am..... and as Daddy is still sick, Mummy had to bring me to GUG on her own..... I must say that I was quite a good boy at GUG..... I even made a heart-shaped Valentine card for Daddy..... Will upload the picture if Mummy managed to find the card.....
After GUG, Mummy & I ate cheese cake at MacDonald...then, we wandered around United Square & Novena Square till 12 plus...... Once we reached home, I had my lunch and off to bed I went for my afternoon nap..... That is where things get exciting.....
Heard Mummy's phone ringing at 3 plus..... It was Atok.... He called to ask Mummy & I to come over to their house as my late-grandma's biological relatives will came over at 4 pm.... Anyway, my late grandma was a Chinese baby who was adopted by a Malay family when she was 1 year old.... They kept in touch when she was young, but lost touch when my great-grandma brought her back to Malacca.... It is a very confusing story..... anyway, we met them for the first time yesterday.... Mummy looks like them.... I don't think I look like them though....
Anyway, this new development means that I have a new set of relatives.... and will celebrate Chinese New Year from now on..... Truthfully, it is only appropriate for me to celebrate Chinese New Year as afterall, I am 3/8 Chinese.... How did I come up wih 3/8??.... Mummy did some rough computation of my genetic background.... One day when she is more free, I shall make her draw out the history of my family.....
Can't write long.... gotta play with Busu.....
BTW : I slept at Atok's place last night..... It was cool.....
